Guess I'm on a Brown Kick- China Glaze Brownstone

This is clearly a favorite of mine- I've just purchased a SECOND backup- the only polish I own TWO backups of, now. Something about the deep brick creamy polish makes me feel so warm inside. The record cold snap here in Florida had me frosting it with "snow"- Ninjapolish Love Lace'n Lawsuits. I tried to show the pink and green shimmer in this lovely  in the macro. Poshe over all.

Rocking the Seventies again!

Decided after a couple days wearing pale pink and lavender ::::GAG:::: for the bridal magazine (nothing personal, I just think I look like I have old lady hands with those colors) I wanted to try the graphic brush stroke nail art style, where after applying a base color, you wipe off almost all of the polish on another color before swiping it randomly on the nail- it fit quite well with a shirt I was wearing today. Base is a FAVE base- China Glaze Kalahari Kiss, the light olive is OPI UhOh Roll Down the Window and the darker green is Zoya Noot. I did dots with Sally Hanson Salon Sequin Scandal. Two layers of topcoat to smooth.

MSMD AUTUMN!!!

I got so excited when I saw this pop up in Pinterest. Some of most loved and well used polishes were included, not to mention dotting, my favorite technique. I modified the colors a hair, using China Glaze Kalahari Kiss as the base, Brownstone, Desert Sun and Mahogany Magic for the flowers. Seche Vite to cover.

Paula's Favorite

Inspired by Robin Moses- I did this for Paula a few years ago, and she has been whining asking about me doing it again for her- so here it is- white base is three coats of China Glaze Dandy Lyin' Around, the flowers are all acrylic paint. Enjoy, sweetheart!
Poshe topcoat.

MultiChrome Holo- Frankenpolish!

What happens when you add Spectraflair 35 to multichrome polish? MAGIC!!
China Glaze Rare & Radiant was on clearance at Sally's a ways back, so I grabbed a bottle and put a couple pinches of the happy dust that is SF into it. All these pics are really the same polish, taken in different lights and at different angles. Dazzle Dry over.

Branching out- China Glaze Elephant Walk

Yes, I KNOW it's from last year, and yes, I KNOW it's been swatched to high heaven, but I am trying to sample all my unused polishes, even to wearing those I wouldn't look twice at before. EW was an impulse buy, perhaps because everyone was raving about the "green shimmer" or something. Well, it is a medium gray and it  does have a greenish cast, and a lovely faint shimmer as well. Perfect in two coats. I wore it a day then added Jessica Chilled Chambord (another untried- burgundy shimmer!) for spots. Jury is out, but it's OK, just not ME. Dazzle Dry over.

Feeling Fallish

There are a few  lines coming out this fall that are showcasing deep chocolate brown, and I just happened to stumble across China Glaze Call of the Wild in a box. It took three coats to get opaque but I use thin ones, and that last was like pouring melted dark chocolate over my nails! I didn't use a good topcoat so I couldn't get decent pics, but it was glossy and gorgeous. I'm moving this from the box to a drawer! I layered over a thin coat of Hits Hefesto, a sheer silver holo over it. Out the Door topcoat this time.
