Let me apologize

for my pictures- I gave my digital camera to a friend that is on an 11 month missions trip (11 countries- it's called The World Race) so I am using my old camera-phone when I take these. I hope to upgrade someday, but it's just not in the budget now (maybe if I stopped buying polish?....wait, what am I, crazy?) so there, please bear with me.

Blue Monday Challenge from Facebook

Finally got to try 2 of my (first for me) butter london polishes, Victoriana and Lady Muck. Victoriana is a gorgeous grayed-out turquoise with chunky-looking silver glass fleck- it went on a bit thick, like it had chalk in it, with a few bare patches, but the second coat was perfect- great brush, smooth application. The clean up was a challenge, as the silver wants to stick around alot longer than the blue, but I think I got most of it. Base Seche Clear, top Seche Vite.

My first Jungle Print!

I was so nervous about this- my daughter's friend had just spent $35 for acrylic tips and they had done a French and she wanted an American, so she asked me to cover the white tips with a leopard print. I used FingerPaints Catwalk Queen from the Fall 2011 collection  for the base (creamy 1 coater) then Barielle Cowl of the Wild for the spots, framed by China Glaze Midtown magic for a little bling.Seche Vite to seal/cover.

Just a few more and I can ship these pretties out! Amazing blog followers! (you know who you are) This is almost too fun! What a great, fun, hobby/craft/obsession we all have, right? Who would have thought one little bottle (the dud variety, no less) of OPI My Private jet would have led me down the path to total lacquer insanity?!?! And dragging others along with me?
