I don't know what happened!

I got so excited by Robin Moses tutorial Here because I have lots of foil and mineral glitters and pigments. I ordered the "Best Glue Ever" and it came today. This is two coats of China Glaze Brownstone (LOVE love) over Nubar base, glue then copper foil, more glue then two glitter pigments- a goldish copper and faded rose then thin lines of Sally Hansen Sequin Scandal and Zoya Elise all topped off with Nubar Diamont. Kinda like a huge sundae, makes your tummy ache when you're done...but I had to start somewhere, right! Here's hoping my foiling improves...

Topped up the butter london

with Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Set the Stage- kinda awkward to get enough large pieces of glitter, but one coat of Nubar Diamont over is and it's smooth as glass-
Oh yeah, the pic includes another of my hobbies- baking with freshly-ground wheat for my kids!

You've all seen this before but...

My dad owned an MG Midget in British Racing Green and I have been lemming this from butter london since it came out....SOOOO when it was half price I got mine! And it looks EXACTLY like the finish of his car. Great memories of careening around corners and down mountains in northern Jersey and whizzing around taxis and pedestrians in NYC in that car. We always buckled up, (back in those days, nobody did) because if we hit a bump, you'd go flying out of your seat if the top was down. There's a funny story about the windshield wipers too...maybe for another day!
