The Drugstore Polishes I'm Keeping!
I was sent a collection of Sally Hansen Triple Shine polishes for an honest review. While I'm not a huge fan of the limited palette (from my perpective) the colors apply like butter with the large flat rounded brush and with the topcoat, these polishes last until you remove them! I went five FIVE days before changing out my mani. Unheard of! (the tip missing from my left pointer was the result of a run-in with a knife) The topcoat isn't fast dry, but wow. wow. Long wear and wet look shine. wow.

Happy New Year!
In the midst of the coldest weather we've had in 25 years, I wanted a mani to brighten me up. I did skittles using the jelly holos Jade Holografico New Collection, three tropical holos named Sunset, Oasis and Mirage. Two coats leaves some VNL, but I'm happy with it. Super easy application.Topcoat is Lippmann Gel Lab.

A Very Merry Christmas Eve
I will be traveling A LOT tomorrow and decided that a pretty Christmas nail art mani with trees, snowflakes or any other such decoration would not hold up very well under all the luggage hauling and layovers I have to endure. With that in mind, I turned to an untried, Crow's Toes Black Widow, a blue-leaning black holo with glitter and red sparks. It took three coats to get it smooth, I blame the glitter, and two layers of topcoat, but now I feel as though my nails have armor on them! Office friendly, as they are pretty much black inside, but as you can see, flash and Ott light make them come alive with rainbows and flashes. I don't notice any color shift as some have reported, but I am thrilled with the results. And yes, half my quart bag is remover and polish :P
