My First and Only Enchanted Polish! March 2014

I was scratching my head at the hullaballo over EPs, the frenzy over restocks, the enormous prices paid for LEs. I'm still not totally convinced it's completely warranted, but this one polish has a lot going for it. Peridot/apple green? check  Linear holo? check
Something to make it unique? (tiny turquoise sparks) check. Winner winner here- two coats with topcoat, it's a bit sheer and a couple spots could have used a third coat.

Rocking the Seventies again!

Decided after a couple days wearing pale pink and lavender ::::GAG:::: for the bridal magazine (nothing personal, I just think I look like I have old lady hands with those colors) I wanted to try the graphic brush stroke nail art style, where after applying a base color, you wipe off almost all of the polish on another color before swiping it randomly on the nail- it fit quite well with a shirt I was wearing today. Base is a FAVE base- China Glaze Kalahari Kiss, the light olive is OPI UhOh Roll Down the Window and the darker green is Zoya Noot. I did dots with Sally Hanson Salon Sequin Scandal. Two layers of topcoat to smooth.

Quick NOTD- Illamasqua Radium

I've featured this before, it's one of my go-to-need-a-happy nail polishes. Illamasqua Radium is a brilliant apple green two coater with a subtle shimmer. Fave. Back up worthy.

Gosh Holographic Hero and Colors by Llarowe Runt. two coats each over two layers of base. Out the Door topcoat.

Rockin' the Pop Art

Barry M Mushroom is a beautiful taupe cream opaque in two thin coats. The brush and application are near flawless. I'd been waiting to try the gloriously bright and fun glitter topper, Candy Lacquer Pop Art, and this was my chance. Match made in heaven. Fun fun fun.

My First Roses!

Cult Nails Grunge is such a perfect two coat sage green! LOVE the application, brush, color, everything about it. Well done, Maria, well done!! I used a couple purple polishes and made a few roses, but I didn't want to push my luck and try to do all my nails at 10 at night, and I stink at lines, so a couple more nails got large white dots with Cult Nails Tempest. My nCLA Flawless topcoat left horrible sheet marks, so I slapped on a coat of Dazzle Dry this morning. Kind of really liking this look.

I made very effort to have all the Ozotic Mish Mash polishes before they went out of production. Multichrome and holographic goodness together is a no-brainer. I love all the bling with so little effort. So I was a bit skeptical when ILNP declared that her holo multis did not need black underneath. Skepticism dead. gone. over. This is Nostalgia (H) a red-green-brown-golden multichrome with a wide holo scattered throughout. Two coats plus topcoat. No black base. Brilliant. My fave by far.  These pics are all the same polish, taken under different lighting conditions. Really.
