OMG!

35 followers? I'm going to have to give something away soon, right? Isn't that the way things work around here? Any ideas? I have a backup Nubar Reclaim (green holo) or a 2009 Opi mini- Halloween set Go Goth! (pics to follow) Any suggestions on which I should give away at the 50 follower mark? I would gladly pay a few bucks more for a better brush- I HATE this one, it's too soft, too thick and too fat at the end. Other than a tricky application, it goes on smoothly with two coats and complete coverage, then MAGIC! My camera phone can't do it justice, you're gonna have to check out ALU and others for better pics, but I love love love this- Nfu Oh Aqua base under 2 coats with Seche Vite on top- let's see what kind of wear I get from this pretty baby!
I hope it's sunny tomorrow and I can get some pics outside!

My attempt at Ruffian

CHina Glaze White Kwik Slvr (discontinued, but you can find it on amazon for under $10 shipped) Gorgeous white, but this took 5 coats to be opaque- see ALU's review of the CG  here and I used Nubar Conserve as the base- I made the mistake of not being happy with the line and laying some OPI Glow Up Already! over the line :( But I LOVE the white glass fleck!) I thought my nails looked like pearls.

Frenched this holo beauty with an Essie burgandy due to the lack of TC necessary to preserve the holo-ness!

L'Oreal Owl's Night with modern cubes

After the light mani (ugh) I was ready for a dark one again- Just found the fall L'Oreal Owl's Night (GORGEOUS!!) and did this take on Robin Moses fall cube design

I used Owl's Nest as the base, FingerPaints Figure of Art instead of foil, did a quick Revlon Quick Dry topcoat, the cubes in acrylic then another topcoat. Sorry, Robin, I did my best!

 after 3 days, sorry about the cuticles, I wanted to get a sunlight pic here. LOVE the green gold and copper shimmer in Owl's Nest!

Warning! Foot pic! Paula had a dream about a black glitter mani with 80's neon symbols so I did this on her toes. This is Wet N Wild black with WnW Hallucination over it, then painted with a detail brush assorted brights, mostly Sally Hansen Hard as Nails.

I wasn't ready to take this off so I did a funky french with Revlon's snazzy Golden Charm, a silvered-gold foil.

In case you hadn't noticed...

All the designs and work are mine, all the nails aren't hehe. The longer and clearly OLDER nails are mine, the younger are my schoolteacher daughter's. There are a few in the early days that belong to assorted friends and another daughter, these will continue with credit when due.

Paula really liked the bright colors and needed "happy nails" for her job today- she teaches 4th grade and the classes have been rearranged- she wanted to put on a fun mani to make the kids feel better about switching classrooms!

I was challenged by a friend at church to wear a light color- this is as light as it gets for me, apart from yummie holos- Essie Nutmeg (2 coats) with a swipe of China Glaze's awesome Mahoganie (great glitter with holo glitter, bad spelling! lol)

I messed up the gorgeous Nubar Greener mani swatching so I covered the mess with my modern peacock feather interpretation. The gold is Milani 3D Holographic in 3D the light blue is China Glaze Bermuda Blue.

Formal Friday! (and green...)

So Paula is supposed to wear something red on Fridays (school color) so I gave her little tuxedos! James Bond on every finger! hehe
And I am sporting the prettiest green (on weekends we were green) so pretty I couldn't do any art over it- maybe after it wears a bit-
