2 Untrieds- Greens!

Cult Nails Feelin' Froggy and Dandy Nails Like Disco Lemonade.
Feelin' Froggy  is a shimmery/glassfleck green jellyish polish that took three thin coats to be opaque, but has a very cool appearance- slightly blue leaning rather than yellow, but far from Christmasy evergreen. Not emerald either- something unique to my 80+ green collection! I used two thick coats of Like Disco Lemonade as accent nails-it went on perfectly, no dabbing necessary- super sparkly small glitters with a spattering of black squares. I am experimenting with the Essence Peel Off base (basically school glue) under the glitters- no base coat. Pictures taken with topcoat- and Gelous over the glitter nails first.

This is why you should have listened to me...

and gotten your Ozotic Mish Mash polishes before they were all gone. This beauty is 531, three coats with no undies- it's even more stunning over black, if possible, that will be another post, I wanted to really see the colors without the black this time- run, find it, beg borrow steal this polish. You won't regret it- gold to copper multichrome with strong linear holo- winning! Thin formula made three coats so very easy- Poshe over- no dulling btw.

I have GOT to get all these glitters swatched!

Nail art is on the back burner for me while I get caught up playing with all my new creams and glitters from my birthday club girls and swaps- up today are Zoya Creamy, a clear yellow that took three full coats to be opaque, as well as Zoya Dove, three also. Dove is a pale gray that is what I call a true gray, white with a touch of black, not putty, greenish, just pretty gray. I dabbed on the amazing GlimmerbyErica Muy Caliente, a clear based glitter of shiny and matte glitters- red hexes, squares, maroon and yellow glitters too. Ole'!!
Zoya Get Even base and Zoya Armor TC.

Lacquistry is BACK!!!!

SO SO happy Jenna is back up and running! After taking QUITE a while off from her etsy shop to concentrate on customs, then replacing HUNDREDS of bottles of polish unasked, at her own expense because she heard a few glitters may have been bleeding (what character!!) she's back in spades with a new fall collection, a Halloween coming up, a small Thanksgiving, etc etc. so many beautiful glitters on the way! I snagged the full set of six fall colors and have two here today. I love to layer over opaque creams, so I started with two coats each of the dreamy creamy FingerPaints Catwalk Cream, a perfect dupe for the 60's appliances color Harvest Gold. And if you know what that is, you're over 50. The brown I chose is Catrice's Bruno Brownani (that name, really???) a dense deep chocolate cream. Two thin layers of the goldendelicious Laquistry Corn Maize and the red/gold/brown glitterparty that is Cornucopia, a heavy layer of Gelous and Seche Vite and I am ready for fall!
Here are Jenna's descriptions:

Corn Maize:  Corn Maize is poppin’ with varying shades of yellow, gold, and even a bit of white “kernels” in a clear base sprinkled with crystalline yellow glitter. Dappled throughout are pieces of golden corn silk- (bar glitter).

Cornucopia: Cornucopia is a medley of 25 different micas and glitters ranging from deep browns, oranges and gold to rich reds, golden yellows, and copper in a slightly brown tinged base. Cornucopia’s largest glitter is mini-hex.

Just try to catch her next opening, HERE but watch out, I may run you over!

NerdLacquer No Medal For Chewie

So what do you do to get the taste of RED out of your mouth? Green? Yellow? Gold? Glitter? All of the above! Since I just cut back all my nails I decided it was a great time to break out an expensive polish (you use less on short nails) thereby extending the pleasure! It has a bright olive base with a fine gold shimmer and gold and different green hex glitters. Coverage is great, I did two thin coats and just had to move a couple larger glitters that wanted to stick together. This makes me so happy, thank you Shannon!!! I used Gelous and Poshe over.
